PACKAGING POLICY

📦 PyaraBaby Seller Packaging & Dispatch Policy

At PyaraBaby, we strive to ensure safe, reliable, and smooth delivery of every product. To protect both sellers and buyers, we have established clear packaging and dispatch guidelines. All sellers are expected to follow these policies strictly.

1. Packaging Standards

Always use sturdy cardboard boxes or 3–4 layers of bubble wrap for fragile and delicate items.

Avoid using oversized cartons, as they increase courier costs and risk of product damage.

Securely seal all edges with good quality tape.

2. Labeling Requirements

Affix the shipping label with recipient details (provided by PyaraBaby) on the outer package clearly and visibly.

Ensure the label is not torn, folded, or hidden under tape.

3. Proof of Packaging (Mandatory)

To protect your shipment against damage or disputes, sellers are required to share:

Pre-packaging photos/videos showing the product’s condition before packing.

Post-packaging photos/videos of the sealed package, including:

Dimensions of the packed box (L*B*H) (with a measuring tape visible in the photo).

A short video clearly showing the shipping label pasted on the package.

⚠️ Note: If a packing video is not shared, our shipping partners will not honor any transit damage claims. This policy is designed to safeguard both sellers and buyers.

4. Pickup & Dispatch

Ensure the pickup agent signs your manifest copy (that we will  be sharing with you) before handing over the shipment.

Do not hand over any product without this signed confirmation.

5. Product Condition & Cleanliness

Only clean, usable, and presentable products should be dispatched.

If the item has stains, marks, or defects that cannot be removed, notify PyaraBaby in advance.

If an item is found non-usable due to dirt or stains without prior intimation, a 5% deduction will apply to the seller payout.

6. Liability for Poor Packaging

PyaraBaby will not be responsible for damages caused by weak, improper, or careless packaging.

Sellers are encouraged to pack items with the same care they would expect when receiving products for their own child.

7. Wrong Product Descriptions

Sellers must ensure that product listings accurately reflect the condition, usage, and description of items.

In case of misrepresentation, a penalty of 10% of the product value or shipping charges (whichever is higher) will be charged to the seller.

8. Best Practices (Recommended)

Use fresh, strong packaging materials instead of recycled cartons.

Wrap fragile items with extra care.

Double-check that the shipping label matches the order details.

âś… By following these guidelines, sellers help us maintain trust, reduce damages, and ensure a smooth experience for both sides of the transaction.
